Some people try to solve their weight problems with exercise alone, others with diet alone, then there are the smarter (more successful) ones that use a combination of both. I suppose it is up to each individual what they feel is the best for them if they are trying to lose weight. While someone else can tell you what they feel is the best, ultimately it is up to the individual to decide because while someone may recommend eating only certain foods and running, this may actually not work well for someone else because the desire to do those particular things would be low.
